Based in Rotary District 5150, the Rotary Club for Global Action is a Rotary club made up of diverse members from around the world.
The club focuses on international service and cooperation with digital events to build empathy across cultures.
Our Story
Rotary is about service to ones community and ours is a global community. That was the concept behind creating the Rotary Club for Global Action. Chartered in October 2020, current membership represents 19 countries from around the world.
At RCGA, we are passionate about removing obstacles to membership. We started this with our charter membership where we opened up membership to people living in Cuba. Because of this decision, we welcomed Jesus Noguera, the very first Cuban Rotarian living in Cuba since Rotary International pulled out of the nation in 1979.
We also realized that cost could be an obstacle to membership in some regions around the world so we instituted a method for sponsoring members for whom dues might be cost-prohibitive.
As a global club, all of our projects are international, but they are also always local for at least one of our members. With all of the projects we take on, we have a club member who can help us to facilitate things locally.
When you join the Rotary Club for Global Action, you are gaining access to a global network of individuals who are passionate about effecting change.
