SUSTAINABLE AGRIGULTURE - HAITI
RCGA, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Cap-Haïtien and with the support of Rotary Clubs around the world, is working to provide sustainable agriculture in the Dumas Community of Haiti.
In Dumas, agriculture is the only source of income for a vulnerable and increasingly marginalized population. Erratic rainy seasons caused by climate change, combined with a lack of access to credit, quality seeds, and tools, have made farming extremely challenging.
We are installing a submersible pump to ensure consistent irrigation, directly improving food security and family incomes. Additionally, we are providing tools, fertilizer, plumbing supplies, agricultural seeds, subsidies to farmers and we are working to make sure this community has the knowledge and resources to maintain a sustainable livelihood.
This is an ongoing project. We invite Rotary clubs, individuals and sponsors to get involved to support our effort. Participate in our March fundraiser or connect directly to help us support this at risk, yet vibrant community.

To celebrate our campaign to bring clean water to farmers in Dumas, Haiti, Johwell St-Cilien, Haitian filmmaker and Past President of the Rotary Club for Global Action (RCGA), brought together talented Haitian artists Okai Muzik and Bennchoumy to create an original song, produced by Mr. 3rdiBeats. The song, Dlo Se La Vi (Water Is Life), is a powerful reminder that water is the foundation of sustainability, growth, and survival.
Through this campaign, RCGA is partnering with Dr. Junior, Past President of the Rotary Club of Cap-Haïtien, to install a submersible pump and artesian well system. This project will provide reliable irrigation for local farmers, transforming agricultural production, strengthening food security, and increasing family incomes. This isn’t just about installing a pump. It’s about restoring dignity, stability, and opportunity. Join us in making a lasting impact.
